Tarot Clarity – Saturn in Aquarius – King of Cups

Saturn in Aquarius, from 3-21-2020 to 3-7-2023.

The power of Saturn to adjust and amend the narratives that hold our society together will be harsh for those who resisted the corrective effect of Saturn in Capricorn, and it will be a reward of blessings due for those who were able to be still, humble themselves, and unlearn the cultural brainwashing that has for far too long divided western society into a de facto caste system.

The King of Cups has mastered the emotional realm. He sets the example that the ultimate wisdom is expressed as kindness. When we project our unresolved feelings onto others, we believe all sorts of stories about what they do and don’t deserve. But we can see all beings as equal, and equally deserving of love, when our own feelings are under control. The King of Cups does not even seem to be interested in the symbol of his emotions- he transcends it and stays focused a bigger picture.

Saturn in Aquarius will provide a restructuring of the collective, away from stratification and towards egalitarianism. Will this manifest as utopian democratic socialism, or postapocalyptic martial law? The King of Cups channels our highest ideals for equality, but when afflicted he can also represent indifference. As Saturn transits Aquarius we all have the power to align ourselves with a reality where we see our whole human family as equally deserving of safety, happiness, and freedom, and rise up to reject the advances of those who are still clinging to 3D decay, and their view that the whole human family is equally deserving of nothing.

Tarot Clarity – Vesta in Gemini – Four of Cups

March 20th 2020: Vesta enters Gemini(her 11th house) after 40 weeks retrograde in Taurus(10th), a transit about gathering resources, and this ingress represents the next stage, which is generosity. Maslow’s Hierarchy is the most accessible model for understanding this progression: when our material needs are met, our ability to be present flourishes with ourselves and in our relationships.

The Four of Cups is a card of family, those stable circles where love is given freely. Vesta in Gemini as the Four of Cups is a symbol of plenty, the wind elements increasing the oxygen supply and expanding the billowing flame, in the containment of the hearth.

Tarot Clarity – Lilith in Aries – The Hermit

January 26th 2020: Lilith crosses the spring equinox point of the world axis. Throughout 2020, the Moon will be closest to Earth as it transits Libra (sign of partnership) and farthest from Earth as it transits conjunct Lilith, the mean lunar apogee, in Aries (sign of self).

lilith.1.aries.hermit

The Hermit is the embodiment of the Nine, which is a symbol of crisis. He is shining his lamp on a new path that only he can see with his mind’s eye, and he is motivated by his desire to abandon everything he has previously known, everything he has worked for and built, everything that kept him safe and comfortable. It is the crisis of leaving it all behind, motivated by the desire to seek true wisdom.

Lilith in Aries as The Hermit shows a release from attachment to conflict in relationship that is inseparable from conflict within the self. Lilith in Aries is a paradox that creates synthesis out of splitting. In isolation, deeper layers of the self can be observed, granting access to awareness which can never be taught, only gained from experience.
